Well after weeks of dabbling and struggling with the many possibilities of what to do next in my quite lil' life, I've finally made some head way in choosing a career path and a school.
YEAH!
I'm so excited!
At first I thought I'd have to go back to high school to get my diploma so I could attend university. But in researching my chosen field, and prospective schools in my area, I've found that I don't actually have to do that at all. I can apply as a mature student, where they can forgive my lack of diploma & allow me to simply take a few tests to prove I'm able to study at that level.
Oh what a load off my mind. To know that I no longer need to waste 2+ years in some crappy adult school, before going onto bigger and better things.
I'll have to start with a Business Diploma though, they couldn't take me into the Degree Program with out my high school credentials. But that's OK. I get credited 2 years of the Degree Studies for taking the 3 year Diploma, only adding 1 extra year in College, unless I do summer school too- hmmm.... I dunno? We'll have to see about that- lol
Anyways I applied to Humber College & we'll just have to see what happens next?
Much of life is a twist of fate. If you play the odds, you're open to all kinds of experiences and things happening to you. If you never take those chances, nothing will ever change- will it?
Change...
I've been a lot of major life changes the past few weeks, and things have been kinda blah because of them.
But this has renewed my spirit. I've been really looking forward to something good coming to me in life lately. Sometimes it just pours sorrow, but every now and again, a rianbow appears to hive you that small ray of hope
Take Care All
